It's been a long time since my last post. I've been really busy with writing my SAT and running around for university admission. Blame is on me because I did not do them earlier. But that is what lazy people do...we wait till deadline is closer :|
Anyway I am preparing for TOEFL and a university admissions exam too. I'm currently over flooded with DIY ideas and I keep getting ideas about what my next post is going to be about, but sadly it has to wait since I need some time off until all the serious work is done. Finally it is the weekend which means in the next two days I don't have to worry about running to university for some admission thing.
Being a high school graduate I must say , tests never leave you. NEVER! I thought I was finally free but I was wrong again, sadly. Anyways once Ramadan is in its peak, In sha Allah I will be free for quite sometime.
A lot has happened in the past few days....worldwide. The Srilankan attacks by the Buddhist monks on Muslims are appalling. Just because a religion is a minor in a country does not mean that the majority group can torture the minority mercilessly. I have also just come across a very disturbing news about the murder of a Muslim sister, a student in Colchester, London.

After reading this I was shocked, almost in tears. Whoever did this...doesn't he have a heart? The murder took place in broad daylight near a nursery. I cannot imagine the pain she went through on being stabbed mercilessly. At this point investigation is still undergoing as to why she was killed and by whom. But the police did hint that it might have been due to her clothing which implies her religion clearly. I pray that Allah grants this martyr Jannah.
To end this post, here is something I came across on tumblr for my hijabi sisters ;)
Have a nice weekend
Silhouette xx
